Schools often mislead young people by implying that a bachelor’s degree is required to secure a fulfilling, high-paying job. The trades are a fantastic rebuttal to this falsehood for many reasons: there are a variety of fields, jobs are in demand, and there are multiple ways to get a job. A trade job also doesn’t prevent you from getting a bachelor’s degree later, if you want one.
